Nov 14 - Block Island SeaBass/Blackfish/Cod

Capt Steven Jr reports that we put together another great day of bottom fishing with some less than favorable conditions on the Viking Fivestar. All the sharpies on board had their limit of Tog and the couple other guys still managed 2-3 each. We also had a full load of Seabass up to 4 lbs and managed to pull out 15 keeper Cod at the end of the day. Capt Derek came out to fun fish for the day and had the first tog of the day at 10.1 lbs. Fri Nov 13 - Block Island SeaBass/Blackfish/Cod

 

Capt Steven Jr reports that despite the wet and windy conditions we had a great day of fishing. We fished close to the island and had excellent Blackfishing with a steady pick of nice Seabass in the mix. All but a couple of guys had their tog limit and everyone had their Seabass limit. Sat Nov 7 - Block Island Seabass/Blackfish/Cod Charter

 Capt Steven Jr reports a slammer day with Chris Cash and the gang. They caught a boat limit of Blackfish and a quick easy Seabass limit later in the day. We had solid action all day and the group went home with a nice load of fillets!!

 

Fri Nov 6 - Block Island Seabass/Cod/Blackfish

Capt Steven Jr reports that we put together another great day of bottom fishing around Block Island on the Viking Fivestar. We had a load of nice Seabass, a good shot of Blackfish and a few Cod. We had improvement in the black fishing resulting in a few guys getting their limit and some quality fish coming up. Wed Nov 4 - 30 to 50 Mile Wreck Trip

 Capt Steven Jr reports a good day of fishing the wrecks. We had slower fishing then last week, but still got what we needed to send everyone home with a load of fish. We had some Cod on every drop with the biggest weighing in at 18 lbs. We again had the quality sized Seabass and a load of Ling.

 

Wed Oct 28 - 30 to 50 Mile Wreck Trip

Capt Steven Jr reports slammer fishing on the Viking Fivestar. We had an easy limit of XXXL Seabass and bunch of healthy Cod on the offshore wrecks. Everyone on the boat had at least 3 Cod and high hook was Billy Combs with 10 keeper Cod! Lot of Seabass around 5 lbs or better, one basket on board was over flowing with only 12 Seabass in it. There were also a  bunch of big king Ling and couple Scup in the mix as well.

 

Sun Oct 25 -Block Island Cod/Seabass/Blackfish

 

Capt Steven Jr reports another great day of fishing with quality sized fish. Things started off slow in the morning with tough conditions so we did a bit of looking around before getting our load of big Seabass and a couple nice Cod. From there went Blackfishing and had a slow but steady pick of fish with a couple in the 8-10 lb range. By the end of the day everyone went home with a nice load of fillets.
