Start of Tuna Season! It's Tuna Time!!!

Viking FiveStar reports from our last two Tuna Trips:

We have had a phenomenal start to the Tuna Season! Our first trip that was earlier in the week was with the guys from Sea Skurge Harpoons. We had tons of action and got to try out some of their new products. We ended up plugging the fish hold with big eyes and yellow fin to the point we had to come in early because we were out of ice and space. If anyone is in the market for a new harpoon or gaffs, check out some of the Sea Skurge gear. Their stuff is very well made and the penetrator dart is amazing! The guys also have some great footage of this trip and we will be posting more photos and videos as soon as we get it.

Our second trip this week was the Porcu 36 Hour Charter and we had a nice load of yellow fin and big eyes, plus a couple wahoo- one at 60lbs and the other at 30lbs.
We have a few split charters with some space still available! Call the office at 631-668-5700 and book today because we are selling out fast!

We have 7 spots available on the Sept 6th 36 Hour Tuna trip, 9 spots available on the Oct 1st 36 Hour Tuna trip and 5 spots available on the Oct 11th 36 Hour Tuna trip.

Chuck Timson TNT Charter

Five Star TNT Chuck Timson Charter
Captain Steven Jr reports we returned early this morning from our first tuna tile trip of the year and had an excellent trip! We did some early morning trolling and chunking at night for tunas but mostly focused on the tiles. We had a dozen small yellow and white marlin on the troll that we released and 4 better sized fish on the chunk at night. Tile fishing was excellent! We started off putting a good pile of small to medium sized fish on the boat then we went searching for some large models. We were rewarded with 8 slobs from 30-45 lbs. We also had a handful of wreckfish, a couple hake and 2 totes of Pollack. By yesterday afternoon we had a pile of fish on the boat which was more than enough for the 6 guys on board so we called it a trip. We are looking forward to setting back out to the deep later this week. We do have a couple open dates for charters and some spots on the open boat trip this month but space is limited. Give us a call at the office and get booked before they all sell out!
