We
fished inshore today on a couple of half day trips and had great results
on both trips. On the morning trip we went bottom fishing and had good
action on ever drift. Ended up with over 100 keeper sea bass to 4 lbs
and close to the same amount of scup. Everyone went home with big bags
of fillets. This evening we had sunset bass trip that also had good
results. Fishing was steady with a bass on every
drift and a couple drifts 2 and one good drift where we got 5 in the
boat. Towards the end of the night things slowed down as the tide
dropped out. By the end of the night they added up and everyone went
home with a bag of fillets.
Unfortunately the weather early next
week is not looking good offshore so we have canceled the 36 hr tuna
trip on Sept. 8th. Hopefully weather is better later in the week for our
next 36 hr trip. Spots still available on that trip so give us a call
and get in on the tuna bite while it lasts.

Monday Sept 1st 2 Day Tuna
Had
another slammer trip offshore on a 48 hr open boat trip. We had 27
yellow fin (limit) released a bunch and had another big eye around
160lbs. We had fish on with in minutes of anchoring up and they chewed
all night long. After we reached our limit of yellows we put in a few
more hours on troll looking for another big eye but only had more yellow
fin. The guys decided they had enough so we called it a trip and got in
12 hours early sending everyone home with plenty of fish and sore arms.
Stay tuned for photos!
Also make sure you check out our remaining trips! We still have room on some of them but spaces are going fast! So make your reservations with the office today! 631-668-5700

Awesome trip with the crew from Trophy Tackle
We had a slammer trip with all the guys from trophy tackle.
Lots of yellow fin and even more big eyes but Id rather repost the
charters report then make up my own. Better reports from the deck rather
then the wheel house. In the end it was a really good time with an
awesome group of guys. Looking forward to doing more of these long range
trips!
"We found a few tuna on our trip. Stopped short of our destination when we found a piece of floating debris in the abyss with a huge school of baby bigeyes under it. They ate everything. Jigs. Poppers. It was a blast. Came back to the edge for the end of the trip to catch some nice yellows, albies and about a 130 eyeball. Great trip. Great crew and great boat."- Chris Spies
