Oct 31 Block Island Cod/ Sea Bass/ Blackfish

Well yesterday's trip started of excellent and we ended up with a load of big sea bass and around 60 keeper cod. The later half of the day we tried black fishing around block and in all honesty it sucked! Tried a hand full of drops for only a couple good sized fish. Its just not ready down that way. Still a lot of sea bass in the shallower water. Black fishing has been good closer to home for us, so might have to change our zone for them next week.

Sat Oct 25 Block Island Cod/ Sea Bass Trip

Had a phenomenal first Block Island Cod and Sea Bass trip today. Everyone had a limit of XL Sea Bass and we put together an excellent catch of cod. Even the skipper managed to jig up 8 keeper cod on the last drop of the day.

The weather looks beautiful for Tuesday and with fishing as good as it is we will be adding another Cod and Sea Bass trip to depart Tuesday at 5 am. So tell the boss your getting sick on Monday and take Tuesday to sneak out and get in on the hot bite. Will post more pics as we get them.

John Viol 2 Day Tuna Charter

We had another slammer offshore trip this weekend with John Viol and guys. The guys tallied up an impressive catch of 24 yellow fin, 60 nice mahi and 6 nice big eyes ranging from 130lbs to almost 200lbs. Also released a pup sword fish and a white marlin. It was another great trip with a good group of guys that got a nice mess of fish to go home with. Will post some more pics as I get them.

Sept 22 Dave Tuma Locals 2 Day Tuna Charter

Had another slammer trip offshore with David Tuma and the boys. Ended up with 33 (limit) of nice yellow fin a few nice tiles and a couple nice mahi. Night bite was phenomenal last night and we left them biting before we headed in early. We only have a couple open boat trips left before the end of tuna season and the fall bottom fishing trips are filling up pretty quick too. Give us a call at the office for trip info and booking.
