We had a Slammer Sunset bass trip tonight! We had our limit of quality fish in just 4 drifts and we released a couple of bueaties. Everyone went home with a nice bag of fillets and tired arms. We are sailing again tomorrow night at 5:30 and we have some open spots. Fare is $120 and includes all tackle, bait and drinks. Give us a call at (631)668-5700 and get in on the great fishing. Updates for this Summer 2014

Our Tuna trips in August and September have been filling up!! We have heard some good reports from offshore this year already and we are looking forward to getting out there. We do have some open room for multiday tuna charters in July. We also have some up coming shark and tuna tournaments open for charters in July and August. We also have a 2 day inshore special trip in July with some openings. The trip departs at 1 am on Friday the 25th and returns Saturday the 26th at 6 pm. this trip will be fishing from Martha's Vineyard to Block Island on day one with an over night layover in Block Island. The second day we will be fishing from B.I. to Montauk before returning at 6pm. We will be targeting fluke, sea bass, cod, scup, along with bass and blues. Trip is $650 per person which includes everything and is limited to 10 guys. Give us a call and get booked today (631)668-5700.

Last weekends Block Island Shark Tournament

Got a nice mako today for JB tackles tri state shark tournament in block island. Fish weighed in at 150 lbs. Not enough to win any money but the fresh steak made a lot of friends happy. In the last two days of sharking we released 2 makos a couple brown sharks and over 40 blue sharks. The ocean is alive and we are looking forward to next weekends tournament at Montauk Marine Basin.

We are proud to announce that the Viking FiveStar and crew will be featured on the upcoming season of NBC Sports: Shark Hunters!

2014 Viking FiveStar Offshore Schedule!

Our 2014 Offshore Schedule is up and we are ready to make your reservations! Just click on the "Calendar/ Upcoming Trips" tab on the right side of the homepage and scroll down to see the full list of Offshore Trips and the trip descriptions.

In order to make a reservation, you must call the Viking Fleet office at 631-668-5700. We are open everyday from 8AM until 5PM.

In order to make a reservation, we require a 50% deposit or full payment with a credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

Saturday Feb 8 Cod Charter

We had another great day of cod fishing today on the Fivestar. We started off with a good bite of quality cod coming up from dark threw dawn. By mid morning things slowed down and the rest of the day we picked a few keeper and a few shorts everywhere we tried but never got the afternoon bite like we did yesterday. By the end of the day everyone had a nice pile of cod filets to take home. High hook was 13 keeper cod and the pool fish was just shy of the 20 lb mark. We are keeping an eye on the weather for Wednesday and may sneak in an open boat trip on the Fivestar. The starship will remain sailing daily.
