Capt Steven Jr reports a late report from our Tile and Fluke trip last week. We had slammer Tile fishing with fish up to 44lbs and slower then average Fluking, but still had fish to 9 lbs. Due to the weather we had to shorten up the trip by a day and we had to skip the Cod fishing. We started off in the deep on the first day and had a pick early in the day that turned into solid action of quality Golden and Grey Tiles with a handful of Hake mixed in. From there we steamed overnight to the Fluke grounds and had tough condition with wind against tide, but still put together a decent catch of quality Fluke. At the end of the trip everyone had a nice load of fillets to take home. Tile fishing has been excellent and the warm water is moving up on the bank so we have added a 3 Day Tuna and Tile trip to the schedule departing June 28th at 3pm. We have NO openings on tile trips for the rest of the year so this is your last chance to get on a trip for 2021! As far as the remainder of the offshore schedule we have a couple openings on 1 Tuna trip in August and 2 Tuna trips in September.
