We
fished inshore today on a couple of half day trips and had great results
on both trips. On the morning trip we went bottom fishing and had good
action on ever drift. Ended up with over 100 keeper sea bass to 4 lbs
and close to the same amount of scup. Everyone went home with big bags
of fillets. This evening we had sunset bass trip that also had good
results. Fishing was steady with a bass on every
drift and a couple drifts 2 and one good drift where we got 5 in the
boat. Towards the end of the night things slowed down as the tide
dropped out. By the end of the night they added up and everyone went
home with a bag of fillets.
Unfortunately the weather early next
week is not looking good offshore so we have canceled the 36 hr tuna
trip on Sept. 8th. Hopefully weather is better later in the week for our
next 36 hr trip. Spots still available on that trip so give us a call
and get in on the tuna bite while it lasts.
